I’m the maker behind Saw & Cedar, a small woodworking shop based in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania.

What started as a passion for working with real wood turned into a commitment to doing things the right way — slow, intentional, and by hand. Every piece that leaves my shop is free-hand carved from solid wood, shaped by experience rather than automation. I use electric tools where they make sense, but no CNC machines or mass-production shortcuts. The human touch — the subtle variations, the tool marks, the character — is what makes each piece one of a kind.

I believe wood should look and feel like wood. Grain should lead the design, not fight it. Knots, curves, and imperfections aren’t flaws — they’re part of the story.
